The rustic, cedar/stone house is perched at the end of a wooded ridge, with a breathtaking view of rolling farmland & Blue Ridge Mountains. The suite shares a common entrance with the hosts. If you're in the area for an event, passing through, or just looking for a quiet getaway, you'll be conveniently located just 15 min from Roanoke and the Appalachian Trail. Shuttle & a 50A RV hook-up up are available with notice. Light Breakfast included.

Children are welcome, but we ask that small children be well-supervised as our home is not “childproof.” Please bring anything they might need with you (ie: pack-n-play, toys, etc.)

Other Things to Note
BREAKFAST INCLUDED: Fresh-brewed coffee is always included (as well as tea), and in the morning, you will be greeted with homemade muffins or coffee cake, hard-boiled eggs, yogurt and OJ, at no extra cost.
The Space
Your (450 sf) suite includes a bedroom with a Queen-sized bed, dresser, and closet space; a private den with a sleeper sofa, leather recliner, smart TV, and mini-fridge; along with a private full bath. The suite is located at the opposite end of the home from the hosts and is partitioned from the great room/kitchen for added privacy.
We are a pet-and-smoke-free home and allergy friendly (thanks to our own allergies). Linens are washed with fragrance/dye-free detergent, and fragrance-free dryer sheets. No chemical air-fresheners, scented candles or other common irritants used. Let us know if you have particular allergy or dietary needs.
While the kitchen is accessible at all times for water, ice, coffee/tea, we ask that guests not cook full meals unless pre-requested and approved.
During Your Stay
We usually book reservations when we are present, so we are always available to assist you during your stay, in person or via phone. However, if you have stayed with us before, ask about having the whole house to yourself for the weekend (Fri-Sun). Host suite not included.
