Farm View Bed & Breakfast is a family-owned and managed piece of heaven located in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains, yet still close to Roanoke, the Appalachian Trail, the Blue Ridge Parkway, the James River, and other area attractions. Farm View is located at the end of a forested ridge just one mile outside the historic town of Fincastle (est. 1772), overlooking family farms and the mountains beyond! Guests enjoy a lovely private suite and share the great room and kitchen area with the hosts.

 

Second to none in Fincastle, our view stretches 35 miles North towards Eagle Rock and Lexington. Our home has a large deck, part of which is screened, so you can enjoy taking in the view anytime! A bird watcher’s paradise, you may even see Red-Tailed Hawks or Bald Eagles soaring nearby, and we always enjoy the many songbirds and hummingbirds that come to our feeders. In the evenings, feel free to sit around the fire table. Our large covered front porch is also a great place to relax, read, strum a guitar, or bird watch! You might even spot wild turkey, deer, or on rare occasions, a black bear. Enjoy quiet seclusion with your nearest neighbor acres away, but quickly and easily access I-81 just a 15-minute drive away. We truly are, “Close to everything – Away from it all!” Whether you are staying to explore the area or just passing through, Farm View will feel like home in the best way!
